With IT security being such an important part of most businesses, ISO27001 exists to ensure a standard is being met.  

ISO27001 is a very detailed international standard going into every area of a company and how your company controls access to its data and systems. The effectiveness of the ISO/IEC 27001 certification process and the overall standard has been addressed in a large-scale study conducted in 2020.

Consequently, very few companies manage to obtain this certification.
