Backup Systems Passes Cyber Essentials For a 3^rd Year

For the 3^rd year running here at Backup Systems, we have passed a government backed scheme known as Cyber Essentials, but what exactly is Cyber Essentials and how does it relate to our customers?

Cyber Essentials is a scheme put in place to ensure that organisations are doing what they can to best protect their business from even the smallest of cyber attacks, this is figured out using a self-assessment. With this assessment you are quizzed on several things that dictate weather or not you are doing what should be done to keep your business safe from potential cyber attacks!

For three years in a row now, Backup Systems has successfully completed Cyber Essentials and has earned the certification to prove so.

Cyber Essentials is important for any organisation, but even more so for us here at Backup Systems. How can we gain the trust of our customers with their important data if we ourselves don’t take the steps to ensure that we are doing what we can to be protected?

That is why Cyber Essentials is important to us, as it reassures our customers that not only can we offer a backup solution to them should they fall victim to cyber attacks, but we ourselves are also doing what we can to, as per the standards of government guidelines, to ensure that our organisation is being kept safe from potential threats.
