Backup Systems provide individual email archiving. Emails are stored in a searchable database and served back to users in the standard Microsoft Email File format. Emails can be replicated to the cloud or to a secondary site for disaster recovery purposes.

Emails are retrieved using a simple interface which also allows advanced searches. In seconds an email can be opened with Microsoft Outlook or put back into a user's inbox.

Email Archiving is in addition to our standard Exchange backup, which backs up the Exchange database as a whole. Archiving stores individual emails as exact copies as if the user had dragged the email out of Outlook to the desktop. Access controls allow users to browse and retrieve their own emails if that is desired. The administrator has access to the entire database and can initiate searches across mailboxes.
